I’m a bit of a gamer. Actually, I’m a lot of a gamer, and have been for many years. One of my favourite companies is Blizzard, creator of Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo – and of course the wildly successful World of Warcraft MMO.
For the third year now they are running a writing contest – they are looking for a short story of between 2500 & 7500 words, in English, set in the Warcraft, Starcraft or Diablo universes. Cut of date is October 15th.
The Grand Prize is a trip to Blizzard HQ in California, a meeting with their writing staff, a Doomhammer and a pile of their books, all signed. Not a bad prize is you happen to win.
